PARTNERSHIP STRUCTURES
We aim to establish long-term partnerships built on mutual benefit. Accordingly we offer every conceivable form of cooperation:
VENDOR PROGRAMMES
Programmes to support or execute a vendor’s captive finance programme by means of financial and additional services. SG Equipment Finance does not appear under its own brand to the end-user. Special types of vendor programmes are:
- Vendor-branded programmes
A working relationship between SG Equipment Finance and a vendor in which SG Equipment Finance performs all or part of its partner’s captive finance programme. SG Equipment Finance does not appear under its own brand to the end-user. The working relationship always includes financial services for the vendor’s clients. SG Equipment Finance can also perform further functions in the fields of contract management, origination and pre-origination (marketing).
- Undisclosed vendor programmes
The purchase of a vendor partner’s leased equipment by SG Equipment Finance with undisclosed assignment of the lease or receivables; in contrast to - vendor-branded programmes, SG Equipment Finance uses this type of programme to assist in the refinancing of a vendor’s captive rather than its financing.
- Joint ventures
Execution of a captive programme in the form of a dedicated company owned by SG Equipment Finance and a vendor partner; the purpose of the venture is to share know-how, resources, profits and risks. Usually, the services are offered under a special label based on the vendor partner’s brand name.
SALES FINANCING
We define sales financing programmes - in contrast to - vendor programmes - as cooperation agreements between SG Equipment Finance and a vendor to stimulate the vendor’s sales where SG Equipment Finance appears with its own brand to the end-user. SG Equipment Finance can either appear alone (- loose cooperation agreements) or together with the vendor partner (- co-branding).
- Loose cooperation agreements / SG Equipment Finance brand
A vendor partner merely recommends SG Equipment Finance to its clients. The service is then offered independently by SG Equipment Finance under its own brand.
- Co-branding
A vendor partner develops and presents financial services together with SG Equipment Finance under both brands.
